Build an AI second brain that runs itself
A live 4-week course for leaders who are drowning in email, meetings and decisions. Connect your work to AI so it briefs you every morning, remembers what you can't, and hands you back your evenings.
- 3meetings today, prep notes ready
- 2decisions waiting on you
- 1follow-up you promised on Friday
AI is everywhere. The value isn’t.
McKinsey’s latest research on large companies shows the gap every leader feels: plenty of AI, not much to show for it.

An AI operating system can become an enterprise’s ‘second brain’.McKinsey & Company, October 2026
McKinsey’s answer for big companies is an AI operating system: an always-on second brain that keeps the context, reasons across everything and acts. This course builds that second brain at the scale of one leader.

Why most second brains fail
Every tool promised to help, and became one more thing to maintain.
They need constant upkeep
You capture notes for a few weeks, never get around to processing them, and the system quietly dies.
They go stale
Old notes and half-finished thoughts pile up, and an AI fed with them gives confident, outdated answers.
They are built for developers
Most guides assume you live in a terminal, not in back-to-back meetings with a team to run.
A second brain that maintains itself
You set it up once. After that it collects, remembers and works for you.
It collects for you
Email, calendar, documents and meeting notes are connected read-only. Nothing to copy by hand.
It knows what is current
Every fact is saved with the date it was true, so old information retires instead of piling up.
It works with the AI you use
One brain that Claude and other assistants can read, instead of a separate memory inside each app.
This is what an AI brain looks like
The brain of AI Rankia founder Pedro Spota, today. Every dot is something it knows from his email, chats, notes and code, and the lines are how those things connect. You build a smaller version of this for your own work.

McKinsey’s AI operating system, built for one leader
Every layer McKinsey describes for an enterprise has a personal version. AI Rankia founder Pedro Spota runs all of them in his own brain every day, and you build the first version in this course.
| In McKinsey’s AI operating system | In your AI second brain |
|---|---|
| Data stays where it is and gets connected | Your email, calendar and documents, connected read-only |
| A semantic layer that keeps the context | A memory of people, decisions and facts, each with the date it was true |
| Several AI models, none trained on your data | One brain that Claude and other assistants can read |
| Agents that recommend and act | Morning briefing, meeting prep, weekly review and inbox triage |
| An experience layer where people already work | One place for notifications, no new app to check |
| “Own the context; rent or replace the technology” | Your brain is yours, and it keeps working when you change AI tools |
Four shifts that give leaders their time back
McKinsey says management itself has to change. Dr. Kara Larson teaches these four shifts as the cure for overwork, not one more system to maintain.
Manage by intervention
Fewer status meetings. You step in when a signal or a decision needs you.
Manage continuously
An always-on view of what is happening, instead of the monthly review.
Manage for judgment
Your time goes to decisions, coaching and the questions only you can answer.
Connect directly
Context reaches the people closest to the work, without chains of approval.

What you will have by the end
- A morning briefing waiting for you every dayBy day 7
- Meeting prep written for you before every important call
- A record of people, decisions, 1:1s and commitments you can ask questions of
- A weekly review that writes itself
- Inbox triage and reply drafts, ready for you to approve
- Clear boundaries: what your AI can see, and what stays out
The four weeks
Two live sessions a week: one to learn, one hands-on lab.
Setup clinic
Get your accounts, the right AI plan and read-only permissions in place, with screen share for anyone who gets stuck.
Why second brains fail, and your first connections
Map where your work and life information lives and decide what should never be connected. Connect email, calendar and documents, and switch on your morning briefing.
Memory that ages well
A record of facts with dates, so your brain knows what is current, plus a weekly "what changed". Build your leader's memory of people, decisions and 1:1s.
Let AI carry part of the load
Put meeting prep, your weekly review and inbox triage on a schedule, with one place for notifications. Set your boundaries and learn how to delete anything.
One brain for every AI, and your 90-day plan
See the brain of AI Rankia founder Pedro Spota, which connects email, chats, calendar, notes and code for AI agents, and where you can take yours next. Leave with your own 90-day plan.
Who this is for
Made for you if you are
- An executive, founder or manager whose day runs you
- Someone who tried Notion, Obsidian or a second-brain method and gave up on the upkeep
- Ready to let AI save you hours every week, not add another tool
Not the right fit if you are
- A developer looking for an engineering course on AI memory
- Looking for a tool to install and forget, without changing how you work
The method and the build
Dr. Kara Larson
A keynote speaker with a Doctorate in Biomedical Engineering and PMP certification. She teaches the method: how to work with AI without burning out.
Pedro Spota
Runs his own AI brain every day, connecting his email, chats, calendar, notes and code so his AI agents always have his full context. He teaches the build.

Before you join
When does it start?
Dates go to pre-registered people first, together with the founding price.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Everything is set up with tools built for non-developers, and the labs are there to help with your own setup.
Is my data safe?
You decide what gets connected. Everything starts read-only, sensitive areas such as health and family chats stay out, and you learn how to remove anything at any time.
How much time does it take?
About three hours a week: two live sessions plus a little setup time. Every session is recorded.
Which AI tools do we use?
Mainly Claude with its connectors, because it works well with email, calendar and documents. The method works with other assistants too.
Can my company pay for it?
Yes. Pre-register with your work email and we will send you an invoice or a proposal for a private cohort.
Get your evenings back
